Overlanding from a Kids Point of View

Overlanding from a Kids Point of View

If you have looked at our website, you have probably noticed that our co- owners, Vincent and Jennifer, have a seven-year-old son named Gabe. We thought it would be a nice idea to hear just what Gabriel thinks of his off-road adventures with his family and their dog Lazlo. Having camped with Gabe, he is efficient at helping set up the campsite and get the firepits ready. He spends his time exploring and studying the rocks and plants around the area.

Gabe has also gotten into cross country biking, thanks to his father. Not only is he loving it, but he also seems to be very good at it. It takes a lot of stamina, and he is willing to work hard to train for this endeavor.

Getting your children involved in an off roading adventure is important in today’s world. Too many children never get the chance to go off the beaten path and see things that are not on a television set or a video game.

Here is what Gabe has to say…

“Hi! I’m Gabe! I am 7 years old and the "Taz Jr." of the group. I love everything about Off-roading with my dad, mom and our dog Lazlo Lous and Looney Jeep Adventures. I’ve been traveling and off-roading for as long as I can remember and have seen lots of different states and parts of the country.

My favorite part is when it’s muddy and at night looking up at the stars are always brighter during our off-road trips.

I get to see a lot of animals, like donkeys, coyotes and birds during our trips.”

No matter how you look at it, or from whose point of view, going off-road can be a fun and learning adventure. We would love to have you come along on one of our journeys and be able to tell us what you think of your adventure. Gabe would be happy to show you and your family around and teach you what he has learned from being able to “GET OUT THERE!”
